“Path to Team USA” Selection Process

The USA Inline Hockey Committee and its Regional Scouts and Coordinators have begun the process for 2025-26. The committee scouted players at NARCH Winter Nationals in January and had an application process. The Inaugural Women’s Master Team was announced and is preparing for their trip to Germany.

The Selection Process for all USA / NDP Teams for International Events around the World is selected by the USARS Inline Hockey Committee with the input from our coaches, scouts, and coordinators. This process has already begun. The events listed on our website are the events we will scout. Our goal is to find the best players around the country from all 3 regions as listed on the website. Additional Showcases, Camps, and Clinics will be added at a later date.

2025-26 Jr Men and Women

We are excited to introduce the Global Inline Challenge at State Wars, a pivotal step in the National Development Program (NDP) and the pathway to Team USA. This event is specifically designed for the 2007 age group, as they transition out of Junior eligibility for both men’s and women’s divisions. It marks the selection of our new 18U National Team and is a significant milestone for players aiming to compete at the highest levels.

Additionally, we will include one to two 17U National Teams teams from the 2008 and younger age groups to evaluate and prepare them for the 2026 World Championships. This will allow younger players to showcase their skills and integrate into the National Team development pipeline.

For those interested in being considered, we will soon provide details on the selection process and associated costs. Participation in State Wars is not mandatory, as players will have the option to fly in for the short three-day event if they wish to be evaluated.

This initiative is part of a long-term vision to establish a clear and structured path for athletes within the NDP, from U8 to U16 and into the 18U National Development Team (2007). Looking ahead, we plan to introduce a 21U team, ensuring that players remain engaged and continue progressing toward potential selection for the Men’s and Women’s National Teams.

The NDP is the “Path to Team USA,” and we are committed to fostering its growth. Moving forward, players who have participated in the NDP will be given priority in the selection process, reinforcing our mission of developing top-tier talent for international competition.
