We are now accepting applications for the Global Inline Challenge at State Wars, a key step in the National Development Program (NDP) and a direct pathway to Team USA. This event is specifically designed for players born in 2007, as they transition out of Junior eligibility in both the Men’s and Women’s divisions. It marks the selection of our new 18U Junior Men's & Junior Women's National Team, a crucial milestone for athletes striving to compete at the highest levels.

In addition, we will be evaluating one to two 17U Junior Men's & Junior Women's National Teams composed of players born in 2008 and younger. This initiative aims to prepare the next generation for the 2026 World Championships, allowing younger players to showcase their skills and integrate into the National Team development pipeline.

Participation in State Wars is not mandatory—players may opt to fly in for the three-day event if they wish to be evaluated.

how it works

Players will apply for either the 18u or 17u National Team via the form above. Selection to the team will be application based, with scouts in your local area providing feedback to the NDP Selection Committee. Applications will close on May 1st. 

The NDP 18u and 17u National Teams will then represent USA Inline Hockey and play against teams from around the World at the Global Inline Challenge.

Cost: $275 (Includes two jerseys, pants, T-shirt and apparel) If selected, your $25 application fee will be deducted from the total cost.
